Greetings from Iowa
Dec. 28th, 2005 04:38 pmWell it took us 17 hours of driving and an 83 dollar night in a SUPER 8 Motel but we got here safe and sound on Monday afternoon. Spending time with my Dad, Stepmom and Brother has been wonderful. He and I have really connected and he's shed alot of light on my family and my mother especially.
I did well for grades for the semester, Got an A (4.0) in Anthro, Oral History and IFL, got a B+ (3.5) in research meth and pop trends. :) I'm very happy with making deans list cause I really didn't think I'd make it. I fucked off alot this semester and really didn't give a shit for most of it.
I got a REALLY nice tinkerbell watch from Dad and Sandy for christmas and Scott got a GORGEOUS wolf knife. Scott also got me "You'll shoot your eye out" on dvd, a little kwan yin statue and dragon chop sticks at the mall yesterday. I bought myself a tinkerbell camisole today *its silky and lacey woohoo*
When I get home from here the beginning of next week I want to clean for a few days straight and get rid of a bunch of stuff. I'm sick of clutter and I really wanna work towards uncluttering my house in a BIG way :) I'm gonna box all of it up and have a yard sale after the winter and then hopefully clear out enough to really put a dent in our clutter situation.
I'll be back home on the 3rd and don't have to go back to work til the 5th so I have a few days of relaxing and working on the house :)
Welp I think I'm gonna head in and help Sandy with dinner and get caillie out of her hair. My dad will be home from Class soon and we are gonna play cards tonight and talk.
